The Ex's Bestfriend

I just came back from Mid Valley, I really wanna rant something here.
Something weird has been going on lately.
Well, for a start, (flashback) Afiq has this one bestfriend named Redzuan or they usually call him Wan. They've been friends from what I know, since before we dated in highschool. I've never talked to him actually except that one time we met at their friend's wedding, well he was talking about calculus, so I had to interrupt.
He started texting me on Instagram, and like asking what I was doing, have I started working, where I work. This got even weirder when he mentioned about Afiq. Like what happened to you guys? Like why did you guys broke up, whats the main reason, do you have someone new and everything.
I wouldnt consider its weird if he's a friend of mine, or Adib, cause basically Adib knows everything about me and Afiq. But Wan wasn't anybody I knew, I mean I knew him but I wouldn't consider him as a friend or acquaintance. To have someone you just started talking to couple of days ago asking you about everything that has been happening in your life at one time, it has to be something.
& guess what, he texted me everyday eversince.
He would ask where I've been, how's my work, and like just now, he was kinda surprise that I told him I just came back. He would say something like "Lambatnya you balik, pergi mana".
Just now, he asked whether we could hang out at mamak near my house. And like whether he could follow me if I were to go anywhere tomorrow. I told him I'll be meeting a friend in KL tomorrow, then he asked if its a guy, if he's my boyfriend and all. So weird.

I confronted him about this, I asked whether this has to do with Afiq asking him to contact me. He said no. & like how they haven't met since the wedding and all that.
He even asked me this; "Dulu you pernah nampak I tak kat sekolah?"
Ish..
